23 Apr By Caroline Levy Leave a Comment

To select the two candidates for Arlington School Board who will receive the Democratic endorsement in 2020, Arlington Dems is conducting a vote-by-mail caucus.

From April 7 to May 7, Arlington registered voters may request a ballot by (a) completing and submitting an online ballot request form or (b) downloading and mailing a PDF version of the ballot request form (forma español). ( A hardcopy printout of the ballot request form is also available. Contact VADEMS Arlington.) Use of the online ballot request form is strongly encouraged.

Ballots must be received (not postmarked) by Arlington Dems by May 30.

Please note that Arlington SEPTA is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse specific candidates.  There are two openings on the Arlington County School Board . Five candidates are eligible for the Democratic caucus:

  • Cristina Diaz-Torres
  • Steven Krieger
  • Sandy Munnell
  • David Priddy
  • Terron Sims

Two of those candidates, plus independent candidate S. Symone Walker will be on the ballot in November.

We have asked all six candidates the same questions below and have compiled their answers for your information and benefit.  Click on each question below to view responses from all six candidates listed in alphabetical order by the candidates’ last names.
