We are thrilled to announce the extraordinary group of educators, volunteers and students who were awarded Arlington SEPTA’s 2022 Excellence Awards!  Join us in congratulating the winners and ALL the amazing nominees.

Exceptional Ally Award • Outstanding Student Ally
Grace Chen, Washington Liberty High School

Nannini Award • Outstanding Student Advocate
L.J. Seiff, Swanson Middle School

Howie Award • Outstanding Volunteer
Susan Scott, parent volunteer at the PRC

McBride Award • Outstanding School or Program
Program for Employment Preparedness (PEP) at the Career Center

Townsend Award • Outstanding Aide/Assistant or Support Staff
Erica Allgood, Jamestown Elementary

Crawford Award • Outstanding Educator
Margaret Connelly, Innovation Elementary

Turner Award • Outstanding Administrator
Stephanie McIntyre, Tuckahoe Elementary

A big THANK YOU to our wonderful Awards Chair, Maria Araya, the Awards committee, and all our presenters including Barbara Kanninen, Mary Kadera, Dr. Durán, Kelly Krug, Heather Rothenbuescher, Kathleen Donovan, Cassey Robinson, the Nannini Family, Mark Crawford, and Ty Turner.  And thank you to our wonderful student performer James Coughlin!

It was certainly the highlight of our week to celebrate the extraordinary work that these nominees have done to support all learners throughout Arlington.   If you were not able to join us you can view the recording and enjoy hearing all the remarkable nominations overflowing with well deserved words of kindness, support, and gratitude.
